A great overview of some of our natural beauty and history of the town.
This tour highlights the Klondike Gold Rush National Historical Park (the downtown of Skagway), the Scenic Overlook, the Summit Pass, and the Gold Rush Cemetery. Step back into time with expert commentary about the Gold Rush Trail, how Skagway was at the time, and how the town and people are today. |
This tour highlights the Klondike Gold Rush National Historical Park (the downtown of Skagway), the Summit Pass, and the Suspension Bridge! Be ready for some scenery; this tour is one of the most beautiful, without sitting on a bus the whole time. We will depart from town and see the historic park, then tour the scenic summit pass (the highest point of highway), go across the Tormented Valley (a torment of the mind for the prospectors) and spend time at the Suspension Bridge, a lovely spot with food, an outdoor walking museum, and a suspension bridge that goes over the Tutshi river.

The furthest of our tours, this scenic drive travels through historic Skagway, the summit pass, Tormented Valley, and all the way to the Yukon border! Oh, and did we mention there is a sled dog summer training camp along the way? Take the chance to help these canine athletes train with a dog cart ride. These rides really do help these dogs train for races like the Ididerod! Master Musher Michelle Phillips and her crew are some of the best, and the best to their dogs. Along the way we will see an incredible variety of environments and step foot into the Yukon at the Yukon Sign; the furthest point in this tour.

With the beginning and end of the season some vendors close up shop, but not us! We go any day that it is safe to operate. This tour does not involve our vendors so we can do this beauty at any time. Travel the stunning South Klondike Highway on one of the most scenic drives around. The early spring will likely have snow in sections of this drive and the late season will have gorgeous fall colors!
